Next in the UK Chamber of Shipping's webinar programme will take place on 22nd September and is titled 'Crew Issues in a Pandemic - Practical Problems and Solutions'. This session will be presented by Rachel Butlin (Partner, Ince), Martin Dalby (Partner, Ince), Laura Livingstone (Partner, Head of Employment, Ince) and William Chetwood (Partner, Ince).

Ince experts will discuss the impact of COVID-19 on crew issues from both a legal and practical perspective. In particular, the session will cover:

  • Contractual uncertainty and practical considerations for crew rotation
  • Bullying and harassment on board
  • Seafarers as 'Keyworkers'
  • Covid v Crew - Mental Health challenges being faced by crew

All of the speakers have the relevant expertise and will refer to real life examples and personal experiences throughout.
