Virtual Meeting
DfT will be joining the UK Chamber of Shipping Carbon Working Group on Tuesday 18 May 2021 to discuss submissions made to IMO MEPC 76, which is expected to finalise short-term measures and start discussions on MBMs. In particular, the meeting will discuss critical pending issues related to the implementation of CIIs and EEXIs, as well as the establishment of an IMO R&D Fund and MBMs. The meeting will also discuss the UK decarbonisation policy and UK ETS for shipping.
