06 Dec 21 Consultation: Maritime businesses to influence Free Trade Agreements The UK is due to commence Free Trade Negotiations with India, Canada and Mexico in the coming weeks and months. The UK Chamber of Shipping and Maritime UK are keen to ensure that maritime businesses can inform and shape the UK’s negotiating objectives in respect of the maritime sector. To enable the UK’s negotiators to have the maritime sector’s interests best represented, the Department for Transport and Department for International Trade have prepared a series of questions for maritime businesses to consider.
