Commenting on their partnership, Lesley Bankes-Hughes, Editor of ship.energy, said:

“We are delighted to support and promote the UK Chamber of Shipping’s first virtual shipping conference: Creating Pathways to 2030. The extremely positive response to the launch of Petrospot’s maritime decarbonisation information platform, ship.energy - which complements the company’s Bunkerspot brand - is indicative of the incredible level of interest in shipping’s energy transition.

“To reach the IMO’s 2030 targets will need collaboration, information exchange and innovation across the industry, and through its many outreach initiatives the UK Chamber of Shipping is providing strong and proactive leadership on the pathways to decarbonisation. The Conference will provide a major forum for UK shipping to discuss IMO 2030’s challenges, and ship.energy is looking forward to engaging with this key event.”

Alastair Clifton, Director of Communications for the UK Chamber of Shipping said:

“It is great we have ship.energy on board as our Digital Media Partner. They are a leader in the maritime media space and have a huge database of contacts who will now get all the latest information in the run up to the Chamber’s first ever virtual conference.

“This event will lead the way in discussions around what needs to happen across the shipping industry by 2030 and we are delighted to be working with the team at ship.energy.”
