Teekay Shipping joins the UK Chamber of Shipping
The UK Chamber of
Shipping is delighted to announce Teekay Shipping as the latest organisation to
join the Chamber.
Teekay Shipping, which was established in 1973, has developed from a regional shipping company into one of the world’s largest marine energy transportation companies.
Commenting on their membership, Chris McDade, Vice President, Gas Operations from Teekay Shipping said:
“We are delighted to become members of the UK Chamber and expect to take an active role, with both our Gas and Tanker business units represented. We understand the importance of the UK Chamber in engaging at the highest level in a number of industry sectors. We hope our participation, as experienced operators in the industry, will drive and support the development of various initiatives and support the Chamber’s influence over the industry as a whole.”
The UK Chamber of Shipping boasts nearly 200 members and is the voice of the UK shipping industry which contributes nearly £20bn a year to the UK economy and supports over 180,000 jobs across the country.
